Happy Birthday, Mom! HSS458, PP727, IB325

Hey there stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge for March.  I decided to use the Mixed Florals again this time and it works itself in perfectly for The Paper Players Theme Challenge #727: Spring Flowers.  These tulips are the perfect spring flower.  I really like the style of these flowers and I thing they are beautiful colored brightly!  I'm also playing along with Inspired By #325 because of the gingham.  I just love gingham anything and I've used it here in the designer paper and the ribbon.  

This card was lovingly made for my mom for her birthday on March 5th.  Happy Birthday, Mom!

Case'd Sympathy ~ HSS457, GDP484

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge for February.  Our colors are Calypso Coral, LemonLime Twist, and Summer Splash.  I chose to play with a brand new set I just got, Mixed Florals.  It's got a couple beautiful floral images in it that look great colored with alcohol markers or watercolors.  I chose to watercolor this time.  I'm really excited to play around with this one and try some different color combos.  

I also chose to play along with Global Design Project and cased the designer in the picture below.  I love the simplicity of this layout.

Hello stampers! Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments photo or theme inspiration challenge.  Our theme is birthday celebration.  I chose to use the Darling Dinos set again. I cased a card layout from the Sale-a-bration catalog (page 13) so I'm playing along with Caseing the Catty as well. Just Add Ink's challenge this week is to add bling, so I added some Riverside Irregular pearls to my project.

Darling Dino Baby ~ HSS455, JAI734, IB319, GDP480

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge for January.  I turned the sketch on it's side.  I used the three eggshells for my circle elements from the sketch.  I'm also playing with Just Add Ink 734.  My Something New element is a new baby!  For the Inspired by Challenge, I was inspired by the colors in the geometric blue pillows.  And finally for Global Design Project case the the designer challenge, I was inspired by the emboss resist technique on Emma's card.

All the images I used were from the Darling Dinos set and there's so many cute images!  I have 4 grandson's so this set it going to get a ton of use!  The sentiments I used are from Cutest Onesie.

Christmas Hodge-Podge HSS453

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Photo Inspiration Challenge for December.  Photo inspirations are a favorite of mine.  I drew from the colors in the bottom right photo.  

I used a ton of different products, current and retired, for this card.  That's why I named it Hodge-Podge Christmas.  See my supply list below for everything used.

This card has a ton of shimmer to it, which is hard to pick up in the photographs.  I brushed Tsukineko Champagne Mist ink over the background DSP after I embossed it with my Snowflake Sky EF.  I also ran my Encore gold embossing ink around the edges of the card to give a little antique feel.  

I used a sponge dauber and dabbed the Champagne Mist ink on just about every element on the card, except the pinecones, gold branches, and ribbon.  Everything else has a nice shimmer to it!

The snowflakes are especially pretty with the shimmer on them.  

The two trees are from a paper pack called He's the Man that was in the Summer Mini a few years back.  I thought these two little ready diecut trees fit in nicely here.

Merry Gold & Green Bells ~ HSS452, SSC349

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #452 and Sunday Stamps Challenge #349.

The bulk of this card was made with the Season of Green and Gold specialty paper, Vellum, and Season of Elegance specialty paper. I accented it with Basic Black and Gold Foil. My card was finished off with embossed Gold Christmas Label and Vanilla Gingham ribbon.
